Or actually “what I drink all the time the last few days”. Most of them are really easy, but honestly I haven’t thought of them, until I decided to play with whatever is at home. Here are my suggestions for summer drinks:
1.Water with lemon and ice
Or my new mania. All day I refilled my jar, again and again. If you’re misguided like me, and just now you find out about this magic, do not waste a moment of your life without trying the combination.
2. Peaches and melon.
For 0,5L I used:
After some time in the refrigerator it’s amazing!
3. Geranium juice with mint.
Here comes one of the magical recipes from my grandparents. Since I was little I love this home-made juice more than all the sweets, my childish organism could take.
1kg of sugar
1 Package Citric acid
Everything is mixed in a container with a lid. The leaves are crushed when added. The container is capped and allowed to stay for 48 hours with stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Then strain through cheesecloth as you extrude the leaves well. Transfer to glass bottles and use with great pleasure. :)
In this case, I added a little mint, because of the ice .
4. Cold mint tea with lemon
Plain mint tea. In the fridge. With bonus lemon.
5. Fruit tea with watermelon.
Plain fruit tea. In the fridge. With pieces of watermelon. In this case my watermelon was slightly tasteless, so I added a small dose of the geranium juice.
6. Watermelon Smoothie
Literally. Torture yourself with removing all the seeds and then put all the pieces in a blender. I think, I can accept kilograms watermelon like that without even realizing it. :)
My father added some anisette to part of it. witrh bonus information on how you can fill watermelons with anisette and syringes. Quite educational.
